STudent Ministry

Wednesdays | 6:30pm | The Blue Building

Reverberate | rəˈvərbəˌrāt | v. be repeated several times as an echo; have continuing and serious effects.

Our student ministry name comes from the idea conveyed in Acts 1:8—“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Jesus’ disciples were to take the Gospel from their hometown of Jerusalem and let it reverberate to the rest of the world. As a student ministry, our goal is that teens will take what they learn and experience at church to the rest of the their world. The Gospel is not just for Sundays and Wednesdays. It affects every aspect of our lives.

Sunday School | 9:45am in The Blue Building

At the center of every teenager’s life is the idea of relationships. The relationships they have with their friends dominate their daily landscape. The relationship they have with parents and siblings flavor every aspect of their personality and character. And relationships with other significant adults, such as coaches and teachers, impact their day-to-day wellbeing. Relationships are a vital part of what being a teenager is all about. Good thing Jesus had plenty to say about the subject.

Jesus and Relationships will teach our students that understanding and grace are keys to Christ-centered relationships; that there is no room for anger or hostility in Christ-centered relationships; that Jesus laid out the right way to deal with conflict in a relationship; and that their relationship with Jesus must be the number one relationship in their lives.

Jesus and Relationships will help students grasp what it means to have Christ-centered relationships.

  • Lesson 4: Relationship #1 (March 8, 2026)

SERMON SERIES

The Apostle John gave us the reason why he wrote his Gospel in John 20:30-31: “Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name” (ESV).

We are currently taking a journey through the Gospel of John. Each Wednesday night, we will take on a small passage from the Gospel and study it. The goal is that our students would either deepen their faith as they learn more about what Jesus while on earth or for the first time believe on Him for salvation.

Join us Wednesday nights at 6:30pm in The Blue Building for our Reverb Worship Service!
